Because of different
weight and configuration qualities, handling characteristics can
occasionally vary from coach to coach. Depending on how a coach is used
and the owner’s preferences, a number of customizations can be used to
help modify many driving qualities; the items mentioned below can
be used alone or together.
¨ 2.5” Front Stabilizer Bar (typically for model years 2003 and before)
¨ Shock Absorbers (typically for model years 2004 and before)
Front Stabilizer Bar
The stabilizer bar is
meant to combat is the rocking side to side motion some top-heavy
motorhome experience when they ride over driveways or potholes that are
only on one side of the chassis. The Workhorse 2.5 inch sway bar
reduces vehicle lean during cornering to provide a more stable ride for
passengers as the bars help keep the motorhome as vertical as possible
while driving.
The Stabilizer bar
bolts on to the front springs in the same position as the original 2”
stabilizer bar, and help eliminate “rock and roll” by canceling out
force as it is applied to one end of the bar by the equal and opposite
force that opposes it from the other end.

winds.
