For maximum effectiveness, the house batteries you use should be designed a little bit differently than the battery for your motor home engine. Deep cycle batteries are made to go to much lower levels of discharge than engine batteries and deliver more sustained power. These low maintenance batteries are designed for just that job so when you need house battery power, it's available.
