Chassis production is underway and Workhorse would like to invite you to take the tour that many of our customers have already taken. Without exception, they have all come away impressed and pleasantly surprised that we have fulfilled our promise of building chassis and that we have even improved on the quality GM provided.

Let's begin our tour with a brief overview.  Our Union City facility is a 200,000 square foot building devoted to the assembly of Workhorse Custom Chassis.  Both the commercial and motor home chassis move through the assembly stages hanging from a monorail system in the shape of an elongated "S".  As the chassis move along the monorail they pass by sub-assembly stations for axles, steering, engines and radiators.
